Solar Energy International (SEI) is proud to deepen our partnership with Solar Tech Collective (STC) as we expand our continuing education offerings for the clean energy workforce. STC brings a wealth of experience to this collaboration—not only as instructors and curriculum developers for SEI’s non-profit mission, but also as trusted industry leaders shaping the future of solar education.
Several members of the STC team sit on National Electrical Code (NEC) Code-Making Panels, representing SEI and the broader solar industry in the development of Article 690, which governs the installation of solar photovoltaic systems, Article 706 covering energy storage systems, and others covering interconnection, power control systems, and more. Their direct involvement ensures that our training reflects the latest thinking in code compliance, safety, and best practices.
The new courses created through this partnership will become part of SEI’s growing continuing education series, designed to help solar professionals stay current with evolving codes, technologies, and field techniques. As the industry rapidly advances, SEI and STC remain committed to delivering relevant, real-world training that empowers a skilled and adaptable renewable energy workforce.
