LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a global solar technology company, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Thai Solar Energy Public Company Limited (TSE) to supply its high-efficiency BC series solar modules for TSE’s large-scale Solar Big Lot project portfolio.
The agreement strengthens the companies’ collaboration, which began in 2021 when LONGi supplied photovoltaic modules for TSE’s floating solar project in Thailand’s Saraburi Province—the province’s first floating PV installation. The new partnership expands their relationship from individual project cooperation to a long-term strategic alliance.
Under the agreement, LONGi will act as TSE’s strategic module partner, providing its proprietary BC series modules featuring advanced back-contact cell technology. The company said the modules offer higher conversion efficiency, improved temperature performance, and enhanced reliability, making them suitable for Thailand’s hot and humid climate while supporting long-term energy generation and project returns.
“LONGi is a globally recognised photovoltaic leader, and the technological strength and reliable quality of its BC module products are well known. We are confident that this strategic partnership will provide solid equipment and supply security for our large-scale project portfolio, supporting TSE’s sustainable growth objectives,” said Dr. Kathleen Malanon, Chief Executive Officer of TSE.
LONGi said the partnership aligns with its mission to advance clean energy adoption through technological innovation and will support Thailand’s energy transition and the broader renewable energy growth across Southeast Asia.
