NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has invited bids for Forecasting and Scheduling Qualified Coordinating Agency (QCA) services for its 296 MW Fatehgarh Solar Project. The tender has been issued under bidding document number NGEL-CS-200156289.

The main scope of the tender is to provide forecasting and scheduling QCA services for the solar project. These services are important for efficient plant operations, accurate power forecasting and compliance with grid scheduling requirements.

The detailed bidding documents, including technical specifications, terms and conditions, are available through NTPC’s eProcurement portal. Interested bidders are required to access and submit their bids through the designated online platform.

According to the tender notification, bidders are not required to pay any tender fee or submit Bid Security/Earnest Money Deposit (EMD). An Integrity Pact is also not required for participation in the tender.

NGEL has instructed interested bidders to submit any queries within the specified period through the eProcurement portal. Queries received after the prescribed deadline will not be considered. The company has also clarified that all corrigendums, amendments and other updates related to the tender will be published only on the e-tender website.

Complete bidding documents must be submitted online within the stipulated timeline. The bids will be opened in the presence of bidder representatives who choose to attend the opening.

The tender conditions state that bidding documents cannot be transferred from one intending bidder to another. NGEL has also clarified that issuing bidding documents does not mean that a bidder has automatically been considered qualified.

NTPC reserves the right to reject, cancel or withdraw the invitation for bids at any stage without providing a reason. Administrative and communication responsibilities for the tender are being handled by the Contract Services department at the NETRA Complex in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

The tender highlights NGEL’s focus on strengthening forecasting, scheduling and grid-compliance arrangements for its large-scale solar generation assets.
