India-based Swelect Energy Systems has launched its Swess EN+ hybrid solar inverter range for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications.

The range covers systems from 5 kW to 50 kW and can be scaled beyond 50 kW. 

Swees EN+ manages solar generation, battery storage and grid supply through a single system, the manufacturer said.

The systems are designed around the load profiles, solar generation and energy storage needs of businesses. Customers can start with a system sized to their current needs and add capacity as operations grow.

The range is certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) under the Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS), which clears it for rollout on schedule in Q2 FY27.

“As energy costs rise and power reliability becomes a bigger concern, businesses want to make better use of the solar power they generate on-site and add storage for backup. Swelect designs each system around the customer’s actual load profile and application rather than offering a one-size-fits-all product,” stated the company.

The launch expands Swelect’s portfolio of energy solutions, which includes solar manufacturing, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), power electronics and energy storage.

Earlier this month, the company inaugurated more than 1 GW of additional PV module production capacity at its manufacturing facility in Coimbatore, India, bringing its total PV module manufacturing capacity to more than 2 GW. It also commissioned a 10 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) comprising two 5 MWh systems.
