Traditional passive balancing dissipates excess energy from higher-voltage cells as heat. Rubix’s Impactiv Balancing™ system instead transfers energy from higher-voltage cells to lower-voltage cells, with additional dissipative balancing when a cell reaches a critically high voltage.
