Power Exchange India Limited (PXIL) successfully conducted the second Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) trading session for June 2025, in line with CERC’s directives under Order of Petition 379-MP-2024. This marked the 6th session for FY 2025–26 and the 51st overall auction under the CERC REC Regulations, 2022, which have been in effect since December 5, 2022.
A total of 15.65 lakh RECs were transacted during this session. Ahead of the auction, over 417.17 lakh RECs were available for trade in the market.

The auction included:
- Non-Solar RECs issued before April 1, 2017, traded at a floor price of ₹1,500/MWh, as per CERC’s Order in Petition No. 2/SM/2017 dated March 30, 2017.
- RECs from various renewable technologies, including Solar, Wind, Hydro, Small Hydro, Biomass, and others.
