ARRAY Technologies, a global leader in solar tracking technology products, software, services, and foundation solutions, has announced that its DuraTrack® and OmniTrack™ systems have been independently verified by Intertek as compatible with 2000-volt (2kV) module-wired systems. This development highlights the company’s focus on providing innovative solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs for the solar industry.
The verification was carried out under UL 3703 and UL 2703 standards, confirming that ARRAY’s trackers meet the technical requirements for 2kV system operation without any additional modifications. This positions the company as ready to support the industry’s ongoing transition to higher-voltage system designs, which are expected to drive improved electrical efficiency and greater cost-effectiveness.
Moving from 1,500V to 2,000V architecture allows solar projects to achieve lower electrical losses, reduce material costs, and improve overall performance. ARRAY’s long-row system architecture, available on both the DuraTrack® and OmniTrack™ platforms, further enhances these benefits by helping developers and EPCs optimize system design while reducing the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCoE).
According to Aaron Gabelnick, Chief Strategy and Technology Officer at ARRAY, the company’s trackers are designed with the future in mind. As the industry increasingly adopts 2kV systems, ARRAY’s solutions are already equipped to meet these new demands, reinforcing the company’s position at the forefront of solar technology innovation. This independent validation from Intertek underscores ARRAY’s commitment to advancing safe, high-performance technologies that align with evolving industry standards and next-generation solar applications.
