P3C Technology and Solutions has announced the launch of its industry-focused Perovskite Validation Platform, P3SKY™, aimed at supporting photovoltaic (PV) manufacturers and technology developers working to commercialise next-generation solar technologies.
Perovskite solar technology has witnessed rapid progress in laboratory research, delivering significant efficiency improvements and demonstrating strong potential for tandem solar modules. However, a major challenge for the industry remains the transition from research-scale breakthroughs to stable and scalable industrial manufacturing.
The newly introduced P3SKY™ platform is designed to bridge this gap by allowing companies to test, validate, and generate performance data for perovskite solar modules under real-world operating conditions. By focusing on module-level validation, the platform will help manufacturers assess key performance factors such as stability, reliability, and long-term durability before making large-scale manufacturing investments.
Sooraj Kumar, CEO of P3C Technology and Solutions, stated that perovskite materials represent one of the most promising advancements in photovoltaic technology but require rigorous validation before they can move from laboratory success to industrial production. He noted that the new platform aims to create a collaborative environment that helps the industry navigate this critical development stage.
The validation platform will initially collaborate with a selected group of around 40 pilot partners, including PV manufacturers, energy developers, and organizations exploring the integration of perovskite and tandem technologies in future solar projects.
As global interest in next-generation photovoltaic technologies continues to increase, industry experts believe that initiatives focused on validation and scalable deployment will play a key role in accelerating the commercialisation of advanced solar solutions.
