PV Hardware (PVH) India, a global leader in solar tracking and mounting solutions, announced that 92% of its manufacturing operations are now localized in India, marking a major milestone in its commitment to domestic production. The company aims to reach 100% local manufacturing by February 2026, reinforcing its dedication to India’s renewable energy goals and the Make in India initiative.
PVH India’s increasing focus on local manufacturing highlights its strategy to create a resilient supply chain, boost local employment, and deliver high-quality, cost-effective solar tracker systems tailored to Indian conditions. With India emerging as one of the world’s fastest-growing solar markets, this move positions PVH India to serve both domestic and export markets more efficiently.
“We are extremely proud to have achieved 92% local manufacturing so far, and our goal to reach 100% by February 2026 is well within sight,” said Varun Pratap Singh, Sales and Sourcing Head – India, PVH. “This milestone demonstrates our strong belief in India’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities. We are eager to start full-scale production locally, further aligning with the country’s clean energy mission and industrial growth.”
By transitioning to full local production, PVH India will reduce dependency on imports, shorten lead times, and enhance product customization for local climatic and terrain conditions. The company also aims to strengthen its collaboration with Indian suppliers, component manufacturers, and fabrication partners, ensuring consistent quality and innovation across its product lines.
“Our vision is to build a fully self-reliant manufacturing ecosystem that supports India’s renewable ambitions,” added Singh. “Localizing our supply chain not only improves efficiency but also significantly reduces the carbon footprint associated with overseas sourcing and logistics.”
PVH India’s manufacturing facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and adhere to stringent international quality standards. The company’s continued investment in automation, local R&D, and workforce training underlines its long-term commitment to sustainable growth in India.
This initiative also supports the Indian government’s efforts to drive domestic manufacturing in the renewable energy sector, helping accelerate the nation’s transition to cleaner, more affordable power generation.
“India is a priority market for PVH globally,” said Singh. “By fully localizing our manufacturing, we are not only reinforcing our presence here but also empowering the local industry to meet the growing demand for reliable solar infrastructure.”
PVH India’s journey toward 100% local manufacturing reflects the company’s vision of driving innovation, efficiency, and sustainability anchored firmly in India’s industrial and environmental progress.
