Sharika Enterprises Limited has reinforced its long-standing collaboration with NTPC Limited through its involvement in integrated solar infrastructure initiatives at NTPC’s Talcher operations, underscoring its commitment to sustainable and decentralised energy solutions for critical power infrastructure.

Under the defined scope of work, Sharika Enterprises is responsible for the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and long-term maintenance of integrated solar street lighting systems across selected peripheral villages around NTPC Talcher. The systems feature high-efficiency solar photovoltaic modules, intelligent LED luminaires with automated dimming and motion-sensing capabilities, maintenance-free battery storage, and durable pole structures, aimed at delivering reliable, energy-efficient lighting and improved safety.

Beyond Talcher, Sharika Enterprises is also associated with solar infrastructure projects across several other NTPC locations, including Angul, Tanda, Unchahar, and NETRA, reflecting the continuity of the partnership and NTPC’s confidence in the company’s execution capabilities.

Sharika Enterprises has established strong credentials in the renewable energy sector, with experience in solar power projects of up to 5 MW capacity and the deployment of large-scale solar LED street lighting systems, with cumulative installations exceeding 15,000 solar LED lights.

The company also has a significant presence in solar rooftop solutions, having executed projects for leading public sector and institutional clients such as NTPC, NHPC, SECI, PGCIL, Indian Railways, and others across India. These installations span utility facilities, industrial campuses, and other critical infrastructure sites.

Commenting on the development, Rajinder Kaul, Chairman and Managing Director of Sharika Enterprises Ltd, said that solar-powered infrastructure plays a crucial role in improving energy efficiency, enhancing safety, and supporting sustainability goals across large utility and industrial campuses. He added that the company’s continued association with NTPC and other leading institutions reflects its focus on delivering reliable, long-term solutions aligned with the evolving needs of the power sector.

With capabilities covering engineering, deployment, commissioning, and comprehensive maintenance, Sharika Enterprises continues to support public sector and utility organisations in their transition towards sustainable, technology-driven energy infrastructure, enabling long-term operational resilience and environmental responsibility.
