Transformers & Rectifiers (India) Limited (TARIL) has reported its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, posting steady revenue growth alongside record order inflows and its highest-ever unexecuted order book, supported by sustained demand across India’s power infrastructure sector.

The company reported revenue from operations of ₹572.34 crore in Q1 FY27, an increase of 8% from ₹529 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹109.65 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 19.16%, while Profit After Tax (PAT) reached ₹64.34 crore.

According to the company, revenue growth during the quarter was impacted by lower capacity utilisation at its Changodar manufacturing facility due to ongoing expansion activities. The capacity enhancement project, involving an investment of approximately ₹150 crore, is expected to be completed by August 2026, after which the plant is anticipated to operate at higher utilisation levels.

Despite the temporary impact on production, TARIL recorded strong business momentum during the quarter. Order inflows surged 218% year-on-year to ₹2,114 crore, while the company’s unexecuted order book reached a record ₹6,630 crore as of June 30, 2026, representing a 26% year-on-year increase and providing strong revenue visibility for future quarters.

The company also reported a healthy enquiry pipeline of approximately ₹23,000 crore, driven by increasing investments in power transmission infrastructure, renewable energy integration, industrial expansion, and export markets.

TARIL said it continues to execute its long-term growth strategy through capacity expansion and manufacturing investments. In addition to the Changodar facility expansion, the company is progressing with backward integration projects valued at ₹900–1,000 crore and the development of three greenfield manufacturing facilities at Chiyada. These projects are expected to strengthen manufacturing capabilities, improve operational efficiencies, and support future demand for advanced transformer solutions.

Commenting on the quarterly performance, Managing Director and CEO Satyen J. Mamtora said the company had started FY27 on a steady note, supported by healthy project execution and sustained demand across the power sector. He noted that the record order book and strong order inflows provide significant business visibility, while ongoing manufacturing expansions are expected to position the company for long-term growth as India continues investing in transmission infrastructure under its Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.

TARIL expects continued investments in power transmission, renewable energy, and grid modernisation to sustain demand for advanced transformer solutions, supported by its expanding manufacturing footprint and robust project pipeline.
