Energy technology firm eVerged has announced a new “Zero Cost Deployment Program” for contractors, commercial solar companies, and EPCs looking to break into the EV charging market.

Designed to reduce barrier to entry, the new partner initiative is built on meeting the spiking demand for EV charging infrastructure. Upfront capital requirements and rising operational complexity have created a hostile environment to many solar companies, who have chosen to stay on the sidelines of the EV charging space.

Now, eVerged aims to provide a “turnkey pathway” to deployment, ownership, and revenue generation through the EV charging sector.

“Everged was founded to be an integrator of energy solutions,” says CEO Jefferson Smith. “Our depth of experience and broad portfolio means that we can provide business models that other providers simply cannot. The Zero Cost Deployment Program reduces historical barriers, allows more stakeholders to benefit in a growing market, and provides a great experience for EV drivers – infrastructure advances and everyone wins.”

Through eVerged’s turnkey solution, installers throughout the industry will be able to create recurring revenue for themselves, representatives say.

An in-depth look

The program is designed to empower its participating companies, eVerged officials say, allowing them to rapidly expand production pipelines. The program provides flexible business models that align with capital and ownership preference, as well as hardware and software resources and fully integrated energy solutions, built for the EV market.

“Beyond traditional installation revenue, partners also gain a pathway to EV infrastructure ownership, transforming one-time projects into income-generating assets,” the company says. “Recurring revenue from charger utilization and ongoing energy services reflect both new and steady cash flow opportunities.”

When it comes to participation, the program offers three main avenues, aiming for the most flexibility to again empower the industry. Foremost, participants can purchase and own their own charging equipment, operating as charge point operator.

For those participants who are unable or unwilling to purchase the equipment themselves, eVerged offers a hardware financing model. This model includes revenue sharing during the pay-off period, and an eVerged-owned model is also available.

“This flexible approach aligns incentives across stakeholders—ensuring that those responsible for installation and maintenance are invested in long-term system performance,” eVerged says. “It also addresses a critical industry challenge: inconsistent charger reliability driven by fragmented ownership and accountability.”
