GoodHeat, a unit of Chinese inverter and battery manufacturer GoodWe, has introduced a new line of air-to-water heat pumps for residential use at the SNEC 2026 trade show in Shanghai, China, last week.

The full DC inverter system is esigned to optimize solar self-consumption. By routing DC power straight to the unit’s internal DC bus, it eliminates the efficiency losses and hardware costs associated with traditional dual AC/DC conversions, the manufactuer said in a statement.

The product lineup covers a versatile capacity range from 6 kW to 34.15 kW to suit different property sizes. Models from 6 kW to 14 kW are designed for standard residential use, offering high efficiency as single-phase units, with the 6 kW version reaching a coefficient of performance (COP) of 4.70. Larger models from 16 kW to 34 kW are intended for bigger residential or light commercial applications and achieve a COP of 4.55.

The smallest model has dimensions of 1,170 mm × 462 mm × 855 mm and weighs up to 132 kg, while the largest variant has a size of 1,220 mm × 452 mm × 1,657 mm and a weight of up to 212 kg.

Across the entire range, GoodHet utilizes Panasonic DC Inverter Rotary compressors equipped with Enhanced Vapor Injection (EVI) technology. This configuration allows the system to deliver stable space heating, cooling, floor heating, and domestic hot water even in harsh climates, achieving a maximum water outlet temperature of up to 60 C for the smaller models and 50 C for the larger ones.

The company said system operation is highly customizable via a full-touch TFT display, allowing users to select three running states across all modes. Comfort is automated via a built-in climate curve that adjusts to outdoor temperatures, while integrated 4G, WiFi, IoT, and OTA functionality ensures seamless remote monitoring and upgrades. Additionally, automated protection loops safeguard the unit against pressure faults, water flow blockages, and freezing.
