Home backup power company Jackery has formed a partnership with Pebble, a California-based firm behind the all-electric Pebble Flow RV trailer.
The collaboration also marks Jackery’s entrance into the automotive sector, representatives say. As part of the partnership, Jackery will deliver bespoke, custom-built solar panels to Pebble as part of the new Self-Powered Package for the 2027 Pebble Flow, an all-electric RV.
The solar panels will give Pebble Flow owners another way to add solar power while on the road, officials say. The two brands’ collaboration will create a new category of mobile, off-grid energy, further advancing the RV industry’s energy transition.
“Jackery’s established leadership in portable power backup lays the ideal groundwork for Pebble to continue redefining RV travel around clean energy without compromise,” says Jackery Americas CEO Steven Wang. “Enhancing the Pebble Flow’s premium off-grid capabilities with an additional 2 kW of solar charging versatility unlocks significant opportunities for modern travelers seeking greater independence and extended adventures.
“Through this partnership, Jackery is proving that energy self-reliance remains essential and achievable, even when your home is on the road.”
Originally a portable power solutions firm, Jackery is now taking the next step into allowing its users more off-grid freedom than ever. The company says Pebble and its all-electric RVs will serve as a “new frontier of self-reliance.”
Off-grid possibilities
Pebble’s mission, the company states, is to “reimagine the modern RV experience via technology and its groundbreaking work with Jackery.” Aiming to make its vision of ‘Where Home Meets the Road’ into reality, Pebble has partnered with another firm with a commitment to renewable power, operating independently from the grid.
The Pebble Flow eliminates the need for propane and generators, representatives say. Adding Jackery and its team’s solar power prowess removes an RV’s reliance on any other loud, carbon-emitting fuel sources, as well as the need for campground power infrastructure, replacing it with locally generated solar.
“We didn’t want to just put two logos on a product,” says Bingrui Yang, CEO and founder of Pebble. “Jackery has spent years building portable power that people count on, both at home and outdoors. Their solar panels connect straight into Pebble Flow’s own energy system, so travelers get the same steady, easy-to-use power on the road that they have at home. That’s the idea behind Jackery’s ‘Home on the Road, Power on the Go.’”
While working with Pebble, Jackery developed a turnkey solar solution for the upcoming 2027 Pebble Flow. Engineered to integrate directly into Pebble’s wider vehicle and energy ecosystem, the setup includes four 500 W solar panels, as well as four matching solar extension cables and a four in one connection junction.
“When parked and deployed, the system delivers approximately 2 kW of additional solar input,” Jackery officials say. “The panels connect directly to Pebble Flow’s all-electric microgrid, which pairs a 45 kWh LFP battery with up to 4 kW of combined solar input and up to 12 kW of power export to a home, another RV or an electric tow vehicle.”
Potential benefits
With the proprietary solar panels deployed, Pebble Flow generates a net positive of energy, creating more than it consumes on a typical day. This figure includes air conditioning usage, allowing the Pebble Flow to extend off-grid stays and open up more remote destinations without ever giving up comfort.
Orders for the 2027 Pebble Flow are open now, the company says. The Jackery Self-Powered Package is a $4,000 upgrade over the Founders Edition, and the Integrated Solar package is an additional $5,000. Jackery hardware is expected to begin shipping before the end of 2026.
