Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, inaugurated an integrated solar cell and module manufacturing facility developed by Jupiter International Limited and AMPIN Energy Transition Private Limited in Bhubaneswar on April 8, 2026.
The facility operates under their joint venture, AMPIN Solar One Private Limited, established to build and scale integrated solar cell and module manufacturing capabilities in India.
The inauguration marks a significant step toward strengthening domestic solar manufacturing infrastructure and supporting India’s clean energy transition goals.
Speaking on the occasion, Alok Garodia, Chairman and Managing Director of Jupiter International Limited, highlighted that the facility represents a strategic move to enhance India’s manufacturing backbone in the renewable energy sector. He noted that the platform combines scale, advanced manufacturing capabilities, and quality-driven execution to ensure a reliable supply of high-performance solar cells and modules within the country.
The initiative reflects growing collaboration between industry stakeholders and state governments to accelerate clean energy deployment while promoting self-reliance in solar manufacturing.
