The agreement was signed during the SNEC PV Power Expo in Shanghai and focuses on the deployment of Trinasolar’s latest Vertex N G3 and Vertex S+ G3 modules. The cooperation is expected to support residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar projects, with Thailand identified as a key market in Southeast Asia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region serving as a major focus area in the Middle East.

Under the proposed collaboration, Ecohope Solar intends to procure and distribute 600 MW of Trinasolar’s advanced n-type solar modules, strengthening access to high-efficiency photovoltaic technology across multiple international markets.

The Vertex N G3 series incorporates Trinasolar’s i-TOPCon Ultra technology and is designed for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale applications. The modules offer power output of up to 760 W and conversion efficiencies of up to 24.5%, while their low-voltage architecture is intended to improve system energy density and reduce balance-of-system costs.

Meanwhile, the Vertex S+ G3 modules are targeted at residential and commercial rooftop installations, featuring a compact dual-glass design aimed at maximizing energy generation from limited rooftop space.

The partnership reflects growing demand for high-performance solar technologies as project developers seek to improve system efficiency, lower electricity generation costs, and optimize project returns. It also highlights increasing collaboration between technology providers and regional distributors to accelerate solar deployment in emerging renewable energy markets.

According to the companies, the agreement may also create opportunities for future cooperation in energy storage solutions as demand grows for integrated solar and storage systems across the targeted regions.

The MoU further strengthens Trinasolar’s presence in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa while supporting the company’s strategy of expanding access to advanced photovoltaic technologies through regional partnerships.
