New features Added to Virto.CAD
Automatic Inverter Configuration (Available for all Tiers)
Streamline your electrical design with intelligent, automated inverter setup. The system now optimizes configurations automatically, reducing manual input and ensuring better design consistency across your projects.
Alignment Line for Ground Module Layout (Available for Advanced & Enterprise Customers)
The new alignment tool enables precise and efficient positioning of ground-mounted racks. This feature is specifically designed to improve layout consistency across complex and large-scale installations.
Motor & Joint GAP for Single-Axis Trackers (Available for Advanced & Enterprise Customers)
Gain greater modeling precision for tracker systems. You can now define specific motor and joint gaps, improving structural accuracy and layout flexibility.
IMPROVEMENTS
Expanded Mounting System Support
We’ve broadened our library to include new regions for industry-leading systems:
Sunbeam: Now supporting Germany, Czech Republic, and Italy.
Enstall: Now supporting the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Rack Configuration Interface Update
The rack configuration screen has been refined to align with the 2.0 user interface styling for improved usability and consistency.
Cable Path Height Option
A new Height parameter has been added to cable routing. Cables can now be placed above or below terrain surfaces for greater installation flexibility.
Electrical Devices Management Electrical
Devices can now be reassigned between Transformers and LV cabinets improving project organization and design control.
Shading Results Optimization
Irradiance results are now grouped into a block to improve drawing performance and responsiveness.
String Mapping Performance
Processing time for automatic and semi-automatic string mapping has been reduced, delivering faster calculations on complex layouts.
Why We Upgraded Our Platform Support
To ensure you get the most out of these new features, we have optimized Virto.CAD for the latest CAD environments. For optimal performance and stability, we recommend using:
AutoCAD V26
