Adani Green Energy Limited reported strong operational and financial growth for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, driven by significant renewable energy capacity additions and improved power generation.

The company posted a 22% year-on-year rise in revenue from power supply to ₹11,602 crore in FY26, while EBITDA increased 23% to ₹10,865 crore, maintaining an industry-leading EBITDA margin of 91%. Cash profit also rose 11% year-on-year to ₹5,399 crore, reflecting continued operational efficiency and robust cash flow generation.

Adani Green Energy’s operational renewable energy portfolio expanded by 35% year-on-year to 19.3 GW, supported by a record greenfield capacity addition of 5.1 GW during the fiscal year. The company said this marks one of the highest annual greenfield renewable capacity additions globally outside China.

Power generation saw strong momentum, with energy sales rising 34% year-on-year to 37.6 billion units in FY26. The company stated that this output is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of Denmark.

A major highlight of the year was the operationalization of 1,376 MWh of battery energy storage systems (BESS) at its Khavda renewable energy project in Gujarat, making it one of the world’s largest single-location BESS deployments. The Khavda site continues to be positioned as a strategic renewable energy hub, with a planned capacity target of 30 GW by 2029.

Operational performance remained strong across its portfolio, with solar plants achieving a capacity utilization factor (CUF) of 24%, wind projects recording 26.6%, and hybrid assets reaching 35.2%. Plant availability remained above 95% across all segments, supported by the company’s AI-enabled Energy Network Operations Centre (ENOC).

On the sustainability front, Adani Green Energy said its operational portfolio of 19,294 MW is capable of powering over 8.7 million homes while avoiding nearly 36 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions annually. The company also secured a CareEdge ESG 1+ rating and maintained its position among the top global renewable energy companies in sustainability rankings.

Looking ahead, Adani Green Energy reaffirmed its target of scaling its renewable energy portfolio to 50 GW by 2030, with a focus on solar, wind, hybrid, pumped hydro storage, and battery storage expansion across key Indian states.
