Solex Energy Limited has secured a major work order worth ₹628.37 crore, including all applicable duties and taxes, from a leading domestic Independent Power Producer (IPP). The customer is part of a well-established global group with operations in several countries and a strong presence in the renewable energy sector. The order marks another significant milestone for the Surat-based solar module manufacturer as demand for high-efficiency solar products continues to grow across India.
The company informed the National Stock Exchange (NSE) about the development through a regulatory filing dated July 9, 2026. The disclosure was made in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The filing was signed by Azmin Chiniwala, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of Solex Energy Limited.
As part of the contract, Solex Energy will manufacture and supply high-efficiency N-Type TOPCon solar photovoltaic (PV) modules. The order specifically covers the supply of 615 Wp and 620 Wp Glass-to-Glass (G12R) Solar PV Modules. These advanced modules are designed to deliver higher efficiency, improved durability, and better long-term performance, making them suitable for large-scale solar power projects.
The execution of the order is planned over a six-month period, beginning in October 2026 and continuing until March 2027. During this time, Solex Energy will manufacture and deliver the required solar modules to support the customer’s renewable energy projects.
In its regulatory filing, the company also clarified that the contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and that there is no involvement of Solex Energy’s promoters, promoter group, or group companies in the awarding entity. The company further stated that the transaction is not a related party transaction, ensuring that the deal has been executed on an arm’s length basis and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
The latest order strengthens Solex Energy’s order book and reflects the increasing demand for advanced solar module technologies in India’s fast-growing renewable energy market. With the country continuing to expand its clean energy capacity, high-efficiency N-Type TOPCon modules are becoming a preferred choice for utility-scale solar projects due to their higher power output and improved energy generation.
For Solex Energy, this large contract further reinforces its position in the Indian solar manufacturing sector and highlights its growing role in supporting the country’s renewable energy transition through the supply of advanced solar PV solutions.
